Happy New Year! I hope you had a restful holiday season.
Today’s post reflects back on all we accomplished last year and sets intentions for the year ahead.
I have a lot to be thankful for, and I sincerely appreciate you being here, utilizing this newsletter as a source for finding funding opportunities, inspiration, and motivation.
I launched Grants For Creators on January 25, 2022, and it still amazes me how fast we’ve grown and the sheer number of funding opportunities available to creatives and small business owners alike.
As a recap, here’s a run down of our 2023 highlights:
Over 3,600 subscribers joined our newsletter in 2023. We are quickly approaching 6,000 subscribers in total.
We shared 1,048 grants in 2023 (that’s 390 more grants than in 2022).
We created (5) additional playlists to highlight specific opportunities for particular groups of people and/or types of crafts, including:
Grants for disabled persons (available to free tier and paid tier)
Grants for photographers and visual storytellers (paid tier only)
Grants for journalists (paid tier only)
Grants for Latinx/a/o creators (paid tier only)
Grants for filmmakers and poets (paid tier only)
Support our work by subscribing to Grants For Creators for $10 per month or $100 per year.
Hosted (8) one-on-one consultations.
Our subscribers secured funding through many grants sourced from our newsletter, such as Dr. Janina Jeff.
We partnered with grant writer Melissa Wetzel, CFRE, to host a grant writing workshop. Develop your grant writing skills and improve your submissions with Introduction To Grant Writing.
We launched the Grant Submission Planner, a collection of resources to get you organized, help you stay on top of submissions, and never miss a deadline again.
Danielle interviewed the co-founder of Grantable, an AI-powered grant writing tool that can help you write compelling grant submissions with less effort. Get 30% off when you use the code HOLIDAYS23.
Danielle was invited to speak at events such as ATM Summit, and She Podcasts LIVE. Invite Danielle to speak at your event about finding and securing grants and alternative funding sources by contacting grantsforcreators@gmail.com.

What We Have Planned For 2024
More customization and support for our paid subscribers.
We plan to send out a survey to better understand the specific grant opportunities you’re looking for and how we can best serve you.
More playlists for writers and AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander), to name a few.
Learn from the best with more LIVE sessions with grant writers and interviews with creators who secured funding.
Cheers to an incredible year ahead 🎉
Signing off,

Congrats Danielle! Thank you for creating this resource for us. Happy New Year <3
Hi Danielle,
I am a member but I have not been seeing any of the things that I see you have offered in 2023. I am now applying for a grant from "Jewish Story Partners" and I could really use some help to make this a strong application. I wonder if I can still take the grant writing workshop on line that you offered? and have one on one time with someone. I don't even know when my subscription ends but I have not been taking advantage of it and now I really want to be sure I do. What you do is so great . thank you and happy new year. I look forward to hearing from you 917-509-7257 best way by text so I don't miss it. my email is clevpt@gmail.com
