Grants For Creators is a monthly newsletter sharing funding opportunities for U.S. creatives and small businesses. We make it easier for you to find funding to support your creative endeavors.
This newsletter took 40 hours to curate, which includes a significant time spent on research. 1. The Alan Hagman Grant for Photojournalists
This $5,000 grant is offered annually to facilitate projects ranging from human rights to environmental issues — a highly valued creative approach to important stories that might otherwise go untold.

2. The AATCLC Mini-Grant Program For Artists
Artists from all backgrounds and art forms are welcome to apply for this program. Whether you're a poet, musician, visual artist, performer, filmmaker, or any other type of artist, your creativity has the power to make a difference. This opportunity wants to hear from those passionate about fighting Big Tobacco's deceptive practices. Your work will be part of a nationwide effort to raise awareness and inspire action. Receive a grant of $500 to fund your artistic project.

3. The David Prize - For NYC Residents
This opportunity is a celebration of individuals and ideas to create a better, brighter New York City. Open to any individual working in the five boroughs, the Prize welcomes those with the grit and vision to change their communities, culture, and future for good. It will be considered as long as you have a clear idea of how your work improves the city and what you need to get it done. $200,000 will be provided.

4. Individual Artist Equity
This program provides up to $3,000 to individual artists who are Black, Indigenous, People of Color, People with Disabilities, and/or Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual/Agender, Two-Spirit (LGBTQIA2+). The funding is designed to allow you to carry out a well-planned project that will allow you to grow as an artist or to take advantage of an impending opportunity.

5. ServiceScape Short Story Award 2023
This $1,000 award is for all short story writers interested in gaining more exposure and a bigger audience for their creative work. Submit a short fiction or non-fiction work of 5,000 words.
