“Follow your dreams, they know the way.” — Kobe Yamada
Hello, creators! Grants For Creators turned one last week (January 25th)! 🎉
Over the last year, we’ve helped creative people secure over $77,000 in funding!
But I could not have done this alone.
I want to thank my team — Cielo and Kwameh, who are skilled at keeping this newsletter packed with relevant funding opportunities you might not have been aware of.
I’m also grateful for your support. I’m excited about all the doors this newsletter continues to open for creators across the U.S.
As an update, if you are a journalist, we’ve published a brand new playlist for journalists featuring 19+ funding opportunities! We are also working on a playlist for persons with disabilities.
This week we’ve uncovered 42 awards up to $400,000, including grants for indie authors and independent publishers (#20), translators (#24), veteran writers (#25), producers (#27 & #30), writing exploring immigrant issues (#31), and dancers (#40).
